Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů met Frank Rybka in Austria, who may go to visit Karel Šebánek in Czechoslovakia. [Mario] Bois has reportedly already contacted KS. ChM also met with [Ernst] Roth, who has prepared SYMPHONY No. 2 and No. 3 for publication. However, ChM does not understand the contract they are said to have made with Prague. She also asked [Max] Eschig to send KS all the music by Bohuslav Martinů that had been published by his label. ChM received a contract from the Panton publishing house, which plans to publish eight works by BM. However, ChM has only two manuscripts in his possession, namely ORCHESTRAL SUITE FROM THE JULIETTE OPERA and LETTERS FOR CHILDREN'S CHORUS. KS should have the other six manuscripts. The contract is now being dealt with by an attorney in Zurich, whom ChM will see at the end of August. [Brian] Large will be coming for a short visit at the end of August and will no doubt also see KS and head to Polička.
