ContentKarel Šebánek, Karel N[ovák] and [Jaromír] Pečírka visited Hedvika Zaorálková's to see the completed marble bust of Bohuslav Martinů. They all liked it very much. HZ also cast several copies in plaster. One could be bought by the Museum in Polička. It costs 600 CZK and is 53 cm high in bronze. KS gives the address of HZ. JP will write articles about the bust in magazines. BM wished to send copies of Serenades, but will have to purchase them. Melantrich has only agreed to a 35% discount. There was a confused article in Lidove demokracie today with an interview of BM by Hans Stuckenschmid. It erroneously says that the piano extract of JULIETTA. 3 has not yet been published. THE PIANO CONCERT [Josef] Páleníček has performed it very well and plays it 9 times in total.
