ContentMarie Martinů writes from the hospital. She should be home by June 16. She sends reviews - Karel Šebánek can keep the English ones, the Czech one should be sent back. MM is waiting for the critique of the premiere of HOW PEOPLE LIVE given 21-24 in New York. KS is to send a report from the [Czech] Music Fund on what they need for the show. Some things are still with [Miloš] Šafránek. A week ago [František] Popelka brought her some things [sheet music] from Brno and more are due on 19 June. MM does not know whether this will be possible. Only a few people in Polička are interested in Bohuslav Martinů. When she is home, she would send a list of the material [BM] has there so that KS can write to her if she needs any of it. František Martinů returned from his medical examination in Prague reassured. BM was made an honorary member of the choir in The Hague [Haghe Sanghers]. In September [BM and Charlotte Martinů] are invited to Switzerland, where they will stay until about October.
