Content and physical description
ContentReminds of the fact, taht in 1990 will be the centennial anniversairy of the birth of Bohuslav Martinů. Among other ideas she suggests to get in contact with some important people of the music world to convince them about, for example, an inscenation of on of the larger works by Martinů. such as JULIETTE, H 253, or the GREEK PASSION, H 372. She specifies more Western Europe, because she knows about the circumstances in Prague and Brno, which complicate the efforts for organizing an event like this. Ideally to contact would be Rafael Kubelík, Paul Sacher and Charles Munch. Might not E. N. O. [? English National Opera] borrow the material of JULIETTE, H 253, to Curych? B. L. [? Brian Large] would "be very enthusiasic to see such a production brought to the TV screen [and] would even direct it".
