Content and physical description
ContentRichard Veselý was commissioned to write analyses of philharmonic concerts. As the SMALL DANCE SUITE will soon be performed, he asks Bohuslav Martinů to answer a few questions.
RV inquires about BM's date of birth and study with Karl Stecker. He asks for a more detailed description of the CZECH RHAPSODY, the STINUM, the SMITH QUARTET [E flat major], and the CUSUAL NIGHTS. He would also like BM to state when and where the pieces were performed and whether any of his compositions have been published. He also asks that BM tell him when he wrote the SUITE and whether the piece has a specific program that should be communicated to the public.
