Content and physical description
ContentThis is internal Dilia correspondence, probably between the accounting department and Vojtěch Strnad. Bohuslav Martinů was paid royalties for the May and June performances of MIRANDOLINA at the National Theatre.
THEATRE BEHIND THE GATE can either be performed as a whole, or only Act 1 (ballet) or only Acts 2 and 3 (opera). The theatre in Olomouc, for example, performed the whole work, while in Liberec they performed only the ballet part. The writer proposes the amount of the fees for all these options.
Boosey & Hawkes asks for 4% for Dilia for THE HOLY BRIDGE. BM wants to receive 6.5%, but the writer suggests a maximum of 5%. The fees are still available from the theatre in Ústí nad Labem, and will be remitted on Karel Šebánek's return.
Alkor has been told that BM's share of JULIETTA is 5%.
