ContentVáclav Kasal and Ferdinand Bodner thank you for your letter of 22 June 1960. NONET No. 2 was published by their publishing house and sample copies have already been sent to Charlotte Martinů. They therefore ask her to acknowledge receipt of the parcel. As the matters of the estate of Bohuslav Martinů were not settled at the time of publication, ChM could not reimburse royalties for this issue. The same is the case for the issue of the SMITH QUARTET No. 5. The royalties will be paid to ChM once it has submitted the notarial decision on the succession. SNKLHU will also try to find contracts with Melantrich Publishing House concerning the SMITH QUARTET No. 4. However, it would be better if SNKLHU sends a new contract to ChM. They will receive the text of this contract as soon as possible.
