Content and physical description
ContentCharlotta Martinů sends a letter to Alfred Schlee after Zdenka Podhajska and asks for several copies of EPOS ON GILGAMES and GREEK PASSIONS to be sent to him. He is in contact with the director of the Paris Opera, Jean Périsson, who is very interested in Bohuslav Martinů and would certainly like to perform THE GREEK PASSIONS, either at the Bordeaux Festival or elsewhere, as there are no new performances in Paris at present.
In Czechoslovakia, GREEK PASSIONS is being performed in Brno, it will have its premiere in Prague in February 1967, and it will certainly be performed at the Olomouc Opera House in the 1967-1968 season.
The New York branch of Boosey & Hawkes has expressed interest in CONCERTO DA CAMERA. ChM referred them to Universal Edition and asked Schlee if his publisher was represented by anyone in New York.
