ContentKateřina Vondrovicová asks Karel Šolc a few questions about Bohuslav Martinů: in a previous letter, KŠ writes that he began writing piano lifts for BM at the instigation of Jan Löwenbach in 1926 - was the first piece he transcribed Soldier and Dancer? Does KS know who the pianist [V.?] Vaňková is, to whom BM dedicated THREE SKETCHES? Isn't she a relative of Vladimír Vaněk? Does KS know who Fina Tausik-Ganzová was, to whom BM dedicated the FILM IN MINIATURE? He asks KS for help as a memoirist, experts like [Jaroslav] Mihule have failed.
