Content and physical description
ContentRobert Vannoy is enthusiastic about Bedřich Smetana's opera The Two Widows and asks Miloš Šafránek to compare it with Fibich's operas. RG has listened to all three of Martin's cello sonatas. He finds Sonata No. 2 the most introspective. RV has just learned that Frank Rybka committed suicide because of an unhappy love. RV judges that three periods can be observed in BM's work, illustrated by the three cello sonatas: the Parisian period, the period of maturity in the USA, and the high fantasy period (CONCERT FOR PIANO AND ORCHESTRA Nos. 4 and 5, SYMPHONY No. 6, PARABOLES).
Friends of the RV Nick and Libby send greetings to the Kindergarteners from Stowe.
RV asks if MS has thought about his question about D[rahomira] Tikal.
