Content and physical description
ContentFrantišek Bartoš writes after a long time, but he was kept informed by Karel Novák. He was strongly impressed by some of the works, especially the 3rd SYMPHONY, CELL SONATAS played by Miloš Sádlo, SPALÍČEK and DVOJKONCERT. Congratulations from the bottom of his heart on his sixtieth birthday. He proposed a special concert for the occasion, but the Board rejected everything. Above all, he wishes him robust health and that he writes and writes and looks back on nothing. He wishes him to have all the conditions to work on his life's work, which is, in the opinion of several people, one of the most important (along with Bartók, Stravinsky, Honegger, etc.). Greet the common acquaintance, "Ms. G. St." [Stella and George Steiner?] many thanks for everything.
