ContentMartinů confirms acceptance of the termination of the contract with Melantrich and asks about the disposition of the new contract. Martinů agrees to send material on JULIET to the National Theatre. They are to arrange for Olomouc to store the manuscript of the score in a safe place in case of conflict; it is the only copy. ALEXANDER will send the duet to Paris on his return. Martinů, in view of recent events, is not interested in performing TRE RICERCARI in Florence; Melantrich is to arrange the matter himself.
As soon as it is possible to send money again, he asks Martinů to send 2000 fr.
