ContentReply to the letter of 25.7.: for TRE RICERCARI they could ask 250Kč at the Venice Festival. A copy of the score is with Sacher, so they are to send the manuscript and ask for it back immediately after performance with the orch. material. Martinů wanted to settle the matter when he was in Prague, but Reiner knew nothing about it and showed no interest. They are to inform Martinů as soon as they send the material and score to Venice.
Martinů will stay at the Vineux Moulin until mid-September. Did they receive a fee for the performance of the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 2 with Leroux on Prague Radio? He has already received a bill for JULIET from the National Theatre, and will send it when he returns to Paris. Heller of the Olomouc Theatre will contact Melantrich about performing JULIETTE. JULIETTA will be performed again at the National Theatre.
