ContentErnst Roth thanks you for your letter of 2 June [1963], he is glad that JULIETTE was a success in Prague, perhaps other opera houses in the West will accept it. He assumes that Dilia is in charge.
ER is late with SYMPHONY No. 2 and SYMPHONY No. 3. The scores are with the engravers, hopefully to be printed by the end of the year. Charlotte Martinů will receive copies immediately.
ER knows nothing about Mihule's book on BM symphonies [Mihule, Jaroslav: Symphonies of Bohuslav Martinů, SNKLHU 1959], if he had sent it to him he would have started to deal with it immediately.
ER will be in Paris in October and hopes to meet ChM.
