Content and physical description
ContentDavid Adams explains the delay in printing SYMPHONY No.2 and SYMPHONY No.3. The works were commissioned for engraving in the first half of 1965, but only now have the first proofs been printed, but they have already been sent back. Second proofs will be forthcoming shortly, and DA therefore asks if Charlotte Martinů wishes to send them to someone to read before printing. The printing is scheduled for May 1966.
DA promises that SYMPHONY No. 3 will be published by August 31, 1966.
She also sends the scores of SYMPHONY #1, #2, #3 to Theodore Vavajanis and two copies of each to Vieux-Moulin.
FIVE CZECH MADRIGALS, THREE SONGS (THREE LEGENDS) and THREE SONGS are available in the USA and may be printed in the UK in the future.
