Content and physical description
ContentOn his return to Paris, BM discovered a letter from Koussevitzky's secretary. He apologizes for not sending the Symphony [Rhapsody] part; he was working with the Czech Philharmonic. He will send the part in two weeks. The quintet was a success at Mrs. Coolidge's festival and the quartet again at the Siena festival. He looks forward to Koussevitzky's performance of the Symphony and requests newspaper clippings and reviews. He would like more information about the American publishing company.

On returning to Paris, BM found the letter from Bekhtereva, Koussevitzky's secretary. BM apologizes for not sending the orchestral parts of Symphonie [La Rhapsodie]; he has been working with the Czech Philharmonic in Prague. He will have the parts sent to SK in Boston in two weeks, around October 20. Martinů's Quintet was a success at Mrs. Coolidge's festival in Pitsfield, as was the Quartet at the Festival in Siena. He looks forward to Koussevitzky's performance of Symphonie and asks for newspaper clippings and reviews. He would like more information about the Society of Publishers in America.
