ContentDušan Pandula informs Bohuslav Martinů about the performance of quartets by the BM Novák Quartet. On 10 September [1958] they are to reprise the work in Berlin and the following year [1959] in Baden-Baden.
They recorded the SMITH QUARTET No. 6 last week in Baden-Baden. They are acquiring the material for SMITH QUARTET No. 4. In autumn [1958] they will also play some of the BM quartets in Prague. Pandula writes that in the future he intends to perform the entire Martinů cycle. He attaches newspaper clippings and programmes to the letter.
