Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů received a notification from Prague about a shipment of gramophone records to arrive in Schönenberg. He asks Paul Sacher to accept the package and listen to the records. These are apparently the recordings of POLNÍ MŠE and KYTICE [handwritten: "Les Fresques"].
From Vienna they invited BM to perform EPOS OF GILGAMES [BM quotes part of the letter]. He writes back that he accepts. However, they probably won't pay for his air travel and he is also probably the only one invited, not Charlotte Martinů.
BM complains about the weather. He is lazy and happy.
He has signed a contract with Karl Vötterl. He believes that the cooperation will go smoothly, until now KV has always been reliable. He promised the writer to publish PARABOL soon.
BM is having difficulties with Prague. Karel Šebánek would like to meet him, he has received permission to go to Paris, but he cannot go on BM's behalf.
He and ChM greet the addressee and Maja Sacher.
