Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů received a letter from Paul Sacher on 12 October and at the same time a message from America telling him that his manuscripts had been rescued and that he could collect them in Hautes-Pyrénées. BM immediately asks for them to be sent to him, and then sends Sacher the score of CONCERTA GROSSA for the Universal Edition.
He has also received news of the CONCERTA GROSSA material left in Paris. PS is to tell UE to request it directly from Louis Wauthier in Paris; BM gives his address. Part of the material is in the parcel, another part (complete loop in BM's description) is at the bottom of the library. BM encloses a ticket for the Universal Edition, which they will use to show to LW. [For clarification and corrections, see ID 2875.]
Thus, the question of the DOUBLE CONCERT is not an issue, according to BM. The material will be made in America.
He encloses a letter home.
