Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů received the score of JULLIETTA, he thanks Karel Šebánek and Ladislav Urban, he is happy. He would also like to have the scores of THE GAMES OF MARY and THE SPALICE. KS paused - BM would like to know how he is getting on. He also wants to know how the money from abroad is deposited in the Czechoslovakia for performances of his works and how much he earns (he would like to release some of this money for the benefit of some of his friends, including KS and Alén Diviš). He would need to send at least the first meeting from Spalicek. He has an offer to write incidental music for Broadway, using some of the parts from the Palladium. BM has sent KS a package of music through the Consulate to the Ministry of Information and Education, which he probably doesn't know and won't get at home. (BM calls the office to which he addressed the sheet music the office of "cultural attaches and attaches.") BM was asked by Paris Radio for permission to perform THE MESSAGE ON THE BRIDGE, from which he was told that it had been recorded on records and performed in Vienna for the Prix Italia. Not knowing what to make of this, KS asks. He receives similar letters from Brussels and Sweden and does not know what to reply. He has joined a new company, BIEM, which takes care of copyright protection on records. They will also check the recording of BM's works in Prague. KS is not supposed to answer to AMP, BM will sort it out with them. He sees that writing letters to Melantrich is going nowhere, so he decides to make arrangements with AMP. He asks how the money issue is going and if he should write to a ministry or directly to the Minister.
