ContentBohuslav Martinů is impatiently awaiting a letter from Karel Šebánek, the percentages are not settled. Ralph Hawkes offers him 7.5 [%] and for Orbis 5 [%] if the works are printed in America. Another thing is that he wants to get back from AMP the manuscripts of the CONCERT FOR TWO PIANOS AND ORCH. and the CONCERT FOR VLC AND ORCH. No. 2. KS is to write them a letter as soon as possible saying that they want the works published immediately. AMP are willing to give the manuscripts to Orbis, but have a contract with them for America. BM doesn't know if Orbis would actually publish the works; it's important for him to get the manuscripts back from AMP in the first place. BM reports that he sent KS a package for Christmas. She encourages him to finally write something about himself. From reports reaching them, he is concerned if KS is even a director anymore. He asks if he should ask for JULIETTE to be sent to him in America or to Paul Sacher in Switzerland, how far along the copy of the score is, where he stands with the Orbis contracts, when THE SPALET is coming out, and what his other editorial plans are. Ruda [Firkušný] told him that KS had some inconvenience with the material of the CONCERT FOR VIOLINS AND ORCHESTRA No. 2, which the violinist Prokop had taken away. KS is to write to him about the whole matter, BM would try to find him and get the material from him.
