Content	Karl Vötterle thanks you for your letter of 15 February 1959. He comments on the various subjects of their cooperation. Copies of the first act of MIRANDOLINA have also arrived; they will be proofreading. The opera will be published with the original Italian text and German translation, the English version may be published later. They will transcribe the clarinet in B. They will start immediately with the preparation of the piano lift, which they would like to print in June; they will publish a possible change of the soprano part later. As for JULIETTA, they are still waiting for a reply from Prague; they only know about Ludwig Kaufmann's request for a fee. They thank Miloš Šafránek for the address, will ask him for an article and look forward to the biography, which they will also sell. They have not yet received the libretto of the miracle [Mariken from Nimegue - PLAYS ABOUT MARY], they ask for a piano excerpt to be sent soon. They propose the possibility of their participation in the publication of THE SONGS OF THE BATTLE as a "sub-publisher" [subordinate publisher] of SNKLHU. They offer Bohuslav Martinů samples of music paper. They received copies of the PARABOL score.
