Content and physical description
ContentShe apologizes for the delay, but she has received many holiday greetings that she is unable to respond to. Regarding Dr. Mihule and his last greeting of 30 December 1977, he was visiting relatives in the Giant Mountains. On 2 January she wrote to Boosey & Hawkes in Paris. Fortunately, the publisher telephoned her because her letter had not arrived. Mihule is supposed to write, but nothing has arrived yet. She shouldn't worry about it. With the B Foundation. Martin Foundation. The letter Mihule sent is lost, so she will write to Dr. Klos so they can get news for her as soon as possible. He sends in a package what they requested: 1) Divertimento for piano left hand and small orchestra. 1920. Panton. 2) Sonatina for violin and piano. Supraphon; Film in miniature. Supraphon. "Minor Compositions". Panton. He is pleased to have received a letter from the young pianist Malcolm Frago, whom he hopes will enjoy Martinů's music. She did not find the intermezzo. She says she was mistaken, it is the 3rd sonata for cello and piano. She would like to have them over in May and hopes for better weather. She complains about her health, she cannot breathe and her eyes are inflamed. She adds that she has had no news from Jürgen and that there will be a lot of Martinů playing in February. Suk will play the violin concerto and quartets.
