Content and physical description
ContentBM is going to come to Prague for Nikisch, SN is asking for tickets. He is considering the advantages of playing his quartet to Suk. He is waiting for the scores. He knows about some of the shortcomings of the Preludes. He will take harmony lessons with Stepan. He thinks about the Bohemian Rhapsody and briefly describes it. He is too quiet for a symphony and does not want to write anything complicated. He regrets not having been to Oridge. Štěpán is to be given his works (Niponari, Polkas). BM has been working on technique (Czerny, Cramer, Clementi), still needs to study harmony and counterpoint. He believes that if one goes for something, one will achieve it.
