ContentOwing to the director’s absence, they cannot yet inform him of the publisher’s definitive decision. He should wait a week. He has asked Fritz Busch in Dresden for a piano score of his opera-film [THREE WISHES] and expects it to arrive any time soon. He has received the opera buffa “Wohltaetigkeits-Tag” [THE DAY OF GOOD DEEDS], yet due to being busy he only had a cursory glance at it, but the music has impressed him. He must admit that he likes the text less. They are still awaiting the promised score of his Nachtmusik for small orchestra [SERENADE], and he will write to him immediately after receiving it.
