Content	Vladimír Vaněk hasn't received any news from Charlotta Martinů for a long time. In her last letter to him, ChM wrote that she would be going to Prague in May for the [Prague Spring] festival. The writer's good friend, music historian Václav Hanno Jarka, is interested in Bohuslav Martinů and is writing a book about him. It is he who must get the materials, not Miloš Šafránek. VHJ especially wanted to ask Charlotte for information about the composer's piano concertos (sources of inspiration, etc.). BM wrote one or two of them for ChM [? "Madame"] in Switzerland. ChM is to contact VHJ and let him know in due course where to find her in Prague in May. VV [and his family] are busy building. They are currently building a spa resort in Ischia (mainly for rheumatism and arthritis). They travel a lot. They have been to Sweden, Switzerland, unfortunately not France.
