ContentBohuslav Martinů expresses regret for Charlotte Martinů's sorrow and informs her that they are already halfway through their separation. In ten days he will go to Prague and then they will see each other soon. Yesterday they [with Maria and Karolina Martinů] attended a concert [of the SERENADS performance in Pardubice]. BM spoke with [Karel] Novák, and with [Václav] Talich. SERENADA was a great success and KM was proud. VT expressed interest in performing the serenade everywhere. Schott Publishing wants to publish the Serenade. He is also writing to the National Theatre about the opera [Three Wishes], waiting for a reply and may ask ChM to send a piano lift. He has communicated with Miloš Šafránek about the news, and is also going to talk to Paul Brandl.
