Universal Edition asks Hans Rutz, during his trip to England and his visit to the Edinburgh Festival, to contact musicians who might be interested in their new releases and to seek performances of these works. UE informs Rutz that they are represented in England by Boosey & Hawkes, through whom performance contracts are made and performance materials supplied. They will always send one promotional copy to his English address. Martinu's CONCERTO GROSSO is mentioned as "a great success of recent times, certainly one of the most important and promising novelties."
