Content and physical description
ContentRichard Klos is writing a long letter, so he prefers to have it translated [from Czech into French].
The 1st CHF is expecting all three [Charlotte Martinů, Alain Bécourt and his wife] on 18 December [1976]. RK will meet them at the border, place to be specified.
2. RK has made arrangements with Mr. Lorence [Czechoslovak Ambassador in Paris] regarding visa for ChM and family. Once they have an official invitation, their visas will be approved.
3. They may have to adjust the planned stay of ChM at the spa.
4. Orbis Publishing has sent the contract to [Diederik] De Jong, hopefully they will have ChM's book published soon. RK also asked [Dusan] Pertot for a quick reply.
5. Orbis will soon publish a new edition of a shorter booklet on Bohuslav Martinů by [Jaroslav] Mihule.
6. The orchestral parts for LE JAZZ have been on long term loan, the CHF sent them to [Didier] Duclos long ago.
7. Copyright will be discussed when ChM comes to Prague.
8. Neither [Harry] Halbreich (regarding the manuscripts) nor [Pierre] Vidal (regarding the film with BM footage) have replied yet.
9. They are negotiating with Switzerland about the transfer of BM's remains.
10. Panton is counting on large sales of its edition of KYTICE with texts in French and English in Germany and Austria. Editions for other countries will be prepared separately.
11. As for the SEXTET FOR WIND INSTRUMENTS, the CHF has succeeded in promoting it in Hong-Kong.
12. [Karel] Šebánek is not feeling well due to the rainy weather.
13. The preparation of the Bohuslav Martinů Society is going well. The Foundation will finance it. JM was elected as the chairman of the Society.
