Content and physical description
ContentRichard Klos could not answer earlier, he was very busy at the CHF and NBM, now he reports the news. He has no news about the progress of the negotiations with [Paul] Sacher [regarding the transfer of Bohuslav Martinů's remains from Switzerland]. He responded to [Josef] Páleníček's seventieth birthday card somewhat reticently. RK asked [Jaroslav] Mihul to talk to PS about a possible engagement in Prague in 1977.
RK spoke to [Karel] Šebánek, who is fresh from an operation. According to ChM's wishes, RK also called Sasha Vettomov, he is in Bulgaria, his wife will arrange everything for him later. CHM sent [Didier] Duclos the composition LE JAZZ. The bust of Bohuslav Martinů by [Stanislava] Kavanova was sent to France. Have ChM ask Lorence if it has arrived in Paris yet. RK got a lot of news from [Dusan] Pertot, he could really help with promoting BM's work.
Has ChM received photos from her trip to Prague? RK also sent them to Perchaud, Podhajska and [Jan] Zrzavy. KYTICE in French and English translation has hopefully already reached ChM. RK talked to [Tomas] Hejzlar from Panton about BIRD'S FEET. It was possible to organize a trip for Jaroslav Mihule and his family to Vieux-Moulin.
In Canada and Russia they are very interested in BM's work, CHF will send the scores there.
