Content"Messages for Madame" - a list of topics to be discussed by Jaroslav Mihule and Josef Páleníček with Charlotte Martinů when they visit her [see 9160].
1) CHESS OF KINGS - the piano lift is finished, it is in Brno. The orchestral material from Eschig publishers has not yet arrived.
2) CHF asks very much to forward to JM the French text of ChM's book.
3) Fr. sends the text of the letter establishing the Foundation as requested.
4) JM will say more about the publication of the ChM book in Orbis - modifications will be necessary (e.g. add a chapter on ChM's relationship to Czechoslovakia, in places shorten it).
5) Returns an inventory of manuscripts.
6) Notes sent to [Sasha] Večtom, [Ivan] Straus and [Lev] Ginsburg.
7) Richard Klos is negotiating with the Czech Philharmonic about the conductor [Antonio] de Almeida.
8) Visit of [Michael] Henderson in 1976.
9) He negotiated with the National Theatre and [Václav] Holzknecht about the bust of Marta Jirásková - the decision cannot be changed.
10) The manuscript of Czech Rhapsody by [Philippe] Marietti has not yet arrived - when it does, what to do with it?
11) THE THREE SONGS ON APOLLINAIR'S BASS have not yet been found, they were once sung in Brno by [Jarmila] Vavrdova[-Tomashova], then returned to [Anna] Pecirkova, they were lost afterwards.
12) He sent the address of Mr. Crozal [?] regarding KYTICE to Panton.
13) The transfer of the money to [Alain]Bécourt's account will take place before the end of the year.
14) Explains why SV is not on the NBM board. The Bohuslav Martinu Society will also be formed, to accommodate others.
15) [Miloš] Šafránek is not publishing articles by [Bohuslav] Martinů in Supraphon, but is preparing a book, The Bohuslav Martinů Theatre (the editorial office is informed by [Jiří] Berkovec). They know there that nothing of BM's work can be published without the approval of ChM.
16) Fr. does not yet have a translation of the article on the dispute between BM and [Harry] Halbreich.
