Content and physical description
ContentErnest Roth thanks Bohuslav Martinů for the letter from February 28 [BH 1956-02-28] and asks him for the exact time of his stay in Paris and the address so that they can meet.
ER corresponded with Erich Leinsdorf about MIRANDOLINA before he left for Israel and he should have ideas for the English translation. ER suggests that BM should contact him and eventually come together for a joint discussion on the work.
ER responds to a previous correspondence in which BM writes that vocal parts of the third act from the opera never returned from B&H. ER has still not found them, so he will have to undertake another search. [An inscription is added at the end of the document that the parts have just been found, ER sends them by surface mail that day]

ER congratulates BM on winning the Music Critics Award. The SYMPHONY No. 6 score is finally in the publishing process, BM should soon receive a proofreading.
WHAT MAN LIVE BY recently had its first German performance in Regensburg, ER received reports that it was a great success, so they can hope other theaters will be interested in that piece as well. The process of negotiating a contract with Artia is a bit lengthy, but Karel Šebánek does what he can and informs ER regularly.
