ContentPeter Shaffer explains that Bohuslav Martinů's composition entitled [in Miloš Šafránek's letter to Ernst Roth, ID 8811] CONCERT FOR VIOLIN, PIANO AND ORCHESTRA is not CONCERT FOR VIOLIN [AND ORCHESTRA No. 2], it is dedicated to Elman. As far as he knows, they don't even have this piece in any catalogue. There is also a CONCERTINO [H 232], but he doubts that this is the piece that was intended, as it was published in 1933.
