ContentBohuslav and Charlotta Martinů wish Paul and Maja Sacher all the best for the New Year. BM was now busy working with Samuel Dushkin, who wanted to take (and did take) the manuscript of CONCERTANT SUITE FOR HOUSEL AND ORCHESTRA with him to America. BM is still preparing to go to Prague. He [and ChM] thought that PS and MS would come to Paris for Christmas. BM did not yet have a definite contract with Universal Edition, but the amount he was asking for was not acceptable. The UE are also interested in the DVOKONCERT, just sent it today. He changed the beginning after all.
BM and ChM salute and hope to meet PS and MS in Paris soon.
