Content and physical description
ContentPaul Sacher thanks you for your letter. He is worried that Bohuslav Martinů is not doing well, but it is not surprising given the political developments and everything that is happening in the world. The Universal edition in London certainly has more resources than the UE in Vienna at the time. PS advises the composer how much to ask [for the TRE RICERCARI edition] and how to proceed with the negotiations. Willy Burkhard perhaps asked for £35, BM as a better known composer might well have asked for £50. PS is curious to know the outcome of this matter. Has BM found a publisher for the Double Concert yet?
