Content and physical description
ContentBohuslav Martinů received a letter from Universal Edition in London; this is certainly the result of Paul Sacher's intervention. They are asking him for TRE RICERCARI for publication. He has agreed in principle, but he still has to sort it out with Prague [Melantrich]. He asks Sacher for advice as to the conditions he should ask for. He thinks that they don't pay much in the UE. He [and Charlotte Martinů] still reminisce about a nice stay with PS. He is not doing anything special here now; he is only now becoming disturbed by what has happened.
