Content and physical description
ContentThey received a telegram dated 3.9.[1948] [ID 8765] that the payment had not arrived. [Karel] Šebánek is not in Prague, but the Czech Philharmonic was assured that he had sent the money to Boosey & Hawkes. The amount for the loan of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring was paid to Melantrich on 13 March 1948. They ask for an answer as to how much they are owed in total. They ask for the scores, including Bohuslav Martinů's 3rd Symphony and Double Concerto, to be sent as soon as possible; they need the scores of the Double Concerto and Rite of Spring as they intend to perform these works at their concerts on 25 and 30 September.
