ContentBohuslav Martinů wishes Ernest [Ernst Roth] a nice holiday and a lot of rest, do nothing! BM is leaving for France, where he will do the same. Could ER send a copy of WHAT MEN LIVE BY to Hans Erismann, Hirslanderstr. 18. Zurich 7? There are some possibilities and BM is making a lot of propaganda. He would like copies of MARRIAGE and HOW PEOPLE LIVE for himself, he will try [again talking about propaganda?] here in Basel.

I wish you pekne prazdniny a hodne odpocinku a nic delat, jen odpocivat. 



We are leaving for France and I will do the same, I need it too, with all this modern music one get sorry. But before you get the rest, I would like to ask you if you could send one copy of What men live by" to Mr. Hans Erismann, Hirslanderstr. 18. Zurich 7. There are some possibilities and I am making a big propaganda. Now if it is possible I would like to have the copies of "marriage" and What men live by" for myself I will try here in Basel. Thank you.
