Content	Jan Duchaň greets Maria Martinů from her study stay in Warsaw, where the 1st Festival of Contemporary Music [Warszawska Jesień] took place. The Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Břetislav Bakala, played SYMPHONY No. 3 and Concerto for two pianos and orchestra by Jan Novák, performed as soloists by the composer himself and his wife Eliška Nováková. It was a pity that Bohuslav Martinů was not there, it was a great success. They remember MM's visit to Polička and would be happy to come again.
