ContentBM is glad he likes his INKANTATIONS, he hasn't heard them himself. He hopes Firkušný will play them somewhere in Europe. He advises him what to avoid when composing a violin concerto, not to be bound by fixed forms when composing a symphony, etc. He asks if his (PS) 4th symphony is the one he started with. BM has heard an excellent performance of the Comedy on the Bridge by the "Bambergs". He wishes Stearns every success in teaching composition. He is pleased that he (PS) has many premieres and performances of his works. Asks if he has a recording of his (BM) FANTASIES with Munch. He greets everyone at Mannes College.
