ContentMiloš Šafránek looks back at the past year. The last time he wrote to Maria Martinů was when she was leaving for the hospital, so Jindřiška [Martinů] was already replying to him. MŠ himself was also ill (his son was also being treated for severe asthma and his grandson was going to have an operation for polio), but because of his work MŠ postponed the operation for the time being. He is trying to write intensively until he has closed himself off to the outside world. MŠ was hoping that someone from Polička would come to the MOUNTAIN OF THREE LIGHTS or to CONCERTO DA CAMERA.
The Composers' Union asked him to give a lecture on Bohus - it was held on 6 December. Best wishes for the new year.
