Content[Transcript of a letter originally sent to Isha Popelka:] In November 1957, Dr. Isha Popelka borrowed various material belonging to Bohuslav Martinů from Marie Martinů. MM asked the doctor at that time to provide her with a double list of the borrowed items and also a confirmation of where he had passed them on to - one for MM and the other for BM. In November 1958, two editors asked them to lend them the scores of STUDENTS and LEGENDS, and she turned to Dr. Ota Kukla. However, to this day (3.3.1959) he has not found or brought anything. He is said to have written to IP several times and on 20 January by registered letter asking for a settlement. MM does not know what to reply to the Prague requests. She also wrote to IP's mother to help deal with this embarrassing request. 14 days have passed. Therefore, today MM categorically asks (on behalf of BM who asks for a list of things so that he too can handle it) to notify the Museum and MM at what time he will be handing over the property to BM on Sunday. MM wants to be present so that she can finally write to BM that his belongings have been properly handed over and stored at the Museum. BM's new material is piling up and she cannot have it handed over until these old matters are dealt with.
Written in pencil: "Mr. [Isha] Popelka has not answered this letter either. His address is: PhDr. Iša Popelka, Pernštýnské náměstí, 12361, Pardubice'.
