ContentThank you for the letter, they will look forward to the film. Karel Šebánek does not blame Bohuslav Martinů for not writing, they have not received a letter from him for a long time except for postcards from his travels, now they are waiting for a letter when he settles down, then he will surely reply to KS. He asks KS to phone the Czechoslovak Theatrical and Literary Executive Office to ask why they do not acknowledge receipt of Maria Martinů's score of THEATRE BEHIND THE BRANCH, which she sent on 3 October with a request that they acknowledge receipt. The museum, to which she wrote on 16 September and complained on 13 October, also did not reply. Has anyone written the party for STUDENTS for Prof. [Zdeněk] Zouhar? They are running out of time to rehearse. MM is sorry that the memorial plaque fell out of the plan. Mrs [Marie] Praz[anova] sends her regards and KS will be her dear guest when she arrives.
