Content and physical description
ContentMarie Martinů thanks Karel Šebánek for his letter and the goodwill he shows them. She will send the "obligatory money" after her sister-in-law, who will hopefully be able to return to Prague within 14 days. Mum is in hospital, she is better, but still has to lie down. MM writes that she has had no news from Bohuslav Martinů for over a month, she waits every day. All he knows from the last letter is that BM is writing a piano concerto [Sinfonietta Giocossa?] for a pianist who often visits them - he thinks it is [Rudolf] Firkušný. She also wrote to Václav Kapral, who asked her to ask BM about Vítězslav Kapral, which she did, but she thinks BM will know nothing because they left [Paris] before VK. She heard DVOJKONCERT on the radio and was delighted. If she receives any news about VK, she will write.
