Content and physical description
ContentJindřich Honzl replies to both letters of Bohuslav Martinů [dated 9 May 1936]. He telephoned the representations for JULIA and found Hořejší's translation at Perlík's (represented by Universum); he can send it to BM on condition that he returns their only copy in [two] months. JULIE may be an interesting subject for BM, JH is only afraid of being too subtle for such a sing-song treatment. The brochure on the JH case was unkind to ND. JH thinks he has talked THREE PLAYS ABOUT MARY to Director Zitko and hopes to put them in repertoire. If BM needs anything about JULIE, he should write to him.
