Content and physical description
ContentVáclav Talich was appointed administrator of the National Theatre Opera, Jindřich Honzl expresses his dissatisfaction and describes how Antonín Balatka, who performed THREE MARIES and THE SPALICE, is unfairly overlooked. JH thinks that conducting strength will be needed for VT and considers AB to be the best of the young conductors. Bohuslav Martinů should write an article (e.g. for Přítomnost) about how talent is not known only because they do not keep in touch with critics and with Prague's bigwigs. BM should do what he can, either with VB or in public. He spoke at length about BM's letter to Muzika who promised to write to him, JH is in a hurry.
