ContentFriedrich Schramm apologises to Bohuslav Martinů for the long wait. He is very sorry that the performance of JULIETTA, which he had planned, will not take place for the time being. He hopes to be able to perform it again, if not in Wiesbaden, then somewhere else. The piano extract of the opera, which was sent to them by the publishers at the time, is still in the possession of the conductor [Ludwig] Kaufmann. But he does not want to send the extract back, he would like to buy it from the publishers, because he made a rough German translation at the time. According to FS they will still write to the publishers and ask them to act according to the above intention.
