Content and physical description
ContentVítězslava Kapralová sends her new address [Hotel Beauvoir on the avenue de l'Observatoire] and bad news from [Alfred] Kalmus [Universal Edition], who has rejected her Suite rustica. Bohuslav Martinů reassures her, however, that this is not the end, that it will definitely be published after all. They will re-instrument it. INVENCE BM [Universal Edition] was also rejected, and yet they had success afterwards. VK goes on to describe her new room with a view up to the Senate and her meeting with a young man who worked for E.F. Burian and has now written some libretto which he has promised to lend her.
