Content and physical description
ContentProkop Novák greets Jan and Eliška Novák. In the evening, they listened to the OPENING OF Bohuslav Martinů's STUDIES with Miloslav Bures and discussed whether the Latin translation "Curgativ fontium" is suitable for this composition. Next, PN quotes a short passage from a letter of Gaius Trebonius to Cicero (Epistulae ad Familiares, book 12, letter 16) expressing joy. PN's brother Richard Novák, an opera singer [at the State Theatre] in Ostrava, is to move to the [National Theatre in Brno] in the autumn. PN wishes all the best for Jan Novák's 40th birthday. In a handwritten note, Miloslav Bureš also greets the Novák couple and invites them to visit him if they travel to Prague.
