Content and physical description
ContentPavel Deutsch asks for help in promoting Bohuslav Martinů in the USA. In his opinion, he is one of the best composers. BM is now in France and PD helped forward his correspondence to Czechoslovakia. BM has received an offer from the Simrock publishing company to publish the works. BM, however, is not that knowledgeable on these matters. American friends and the Czechoslovak Legion in Washington are trying to get him to the US. PD believes that accepting Simrock's offer will not give BM the peace of mind he needs - given the current situation in Europe. It would be good if Leopold Stokowski would consider publishing DVOJKONCERT and TRE RICERCARI.
